Tunisia – Noureddine Tabboubi calls for a referendum to change political regime

UGTT Secretary-General Noureddine Tabboubi called for a referendum on to seek the opinion of the people on a changing the political regime.

Tabboubi assured that the parliamentary regime in force for ten years, has shown its limits and the fact of continuing on the same path will destroy what remains of the state.

He added that as long as the very spirit of democracy is to rely on the will of the people, a referendum should be held, to call for possible regime change.
