During a visit to a plant in Menzel Bouzalfa (governorate of Nabeul), the secretary-general of the UGTT Noureddine Tabboubi said that the UGTT is currently operating on the electoral law and on the new political regime, far from all the political tensions.
According to him, the UGTT is likewise working on reformations relating to public education and health, the economy and distribution channels.
Some allege that the UGTT is just asking for wage increases, but the organization is only seeking to regularize the purchasing power of citizens, he added.
