Tunisia-On the footsteps of Tunisia,Algeria organizes presidential debates

Following the footsteps of Tunisia, Algeria will be organizing its own presidential debates.
Algeria’s National Independent Authority for Elections (ANIE) stated that the five presidential nominees would compete in a television deliberation on Friday ahead of the elections programmed for December 12.
Under the theme “Road to change” the debates will last three hours with four sets of topics and 13 questions.Nominees will have 2 minutes to answer the question.

The five nominees contesting for Algeria’s presidency involve previous prime ministers Abdelmadjid Tebboune and Ali Benflis, former culture minister Azzedddine Mihoubi, former tourism minister Abdelkader Bengrine, and Abdelaziz Belaid, head of the El Mostakbal Movement party.
