The prosecution at the Ben Arous Court of First Instance has commanded the opening of a judicial probe into the expired foodstuffs at Rades port. The case was handed over to the central unit of the Aouina National Guard, authorised to carry out all the inquiries and investigations necessary to discover all those involved in the case. spokesperson of the Court of First Instance of Ben Arous, Omar Hanin, told Mosaïque FM.
Mr. Hanin stated that this decision was taken following data published by the media and social networks on foodstuffs (rice, coffee, milk), imported since May 2020 and ready to be sold on the market while they are expired.
As a reminder, many media widely relayed, the day before, information correlating to 130 tonnes of rice, 120 tonnes of coffee and 22,000 liters of expired milk, which were going to be exchanged on the market.
