Tunisia-PDL: demonstration infront of Ministry of Women on this date

PDL leader Abir  Moussi today rejected the new electoral law recently issued in the JORT, especially decree-law n ° 55 of September 15, 2022 stressing that the party’s defense committee will file an appeal to the administrative court.

She threatened to internationalize the case and make the needed legal proceedings in order to protect the interest of Tunisian people.

According to Moussi, the decree infringed women’s rights. This is why she reported the organization of a demonstration on October 1, before the headquarters of the Ministry of Women.

“We are going to go out on the street to tell that we will not recognize the Minister of Women as well as the members of her government who have accepted the approval of such a decree which jeopardize the rights of Tunisian women. These women ministers could have threatened with a collective resignation to reject this text, “said Moussi.
