The National Council of the Order of Pharmacists called on prime minister Najela Bouden’s government to interfere in an emergency to fix the crisis of the wholesale distribution companies.
This appeal comes following the decision of the executive office of the union chamber to stop the distribution activities from November 15, due to the non-obtaining of the attestation of exemption from withholding tax for 2022 .
The National Council voiced its profound concern in the face of this decision, which will result in a disruption in supply activities and will accentuate the crisis in the shortage of medications that has been raging in Tunisia for a few years.
