Tunisia-(Photos)Eatopia: A one day hub for students and multiculturalism in the Tunisian culinary landscape

 

Master’s students in the English language department at the Higher Institute of Languages ​​in Tunisia “ISLT” organized a cultural event titled: Eatopia: deliciously diverse.
 
The event aimed to introduce culinary diversity in Tunisia and the cultural diversity in Tunisian food, which is a model for this positive diversity.
 
The event was marked with diverse activities and discussions with guests including Chef Wafik Belaid, content creators in the field of food in Tunisia, Saif Louhibi and Malik Benarbia . They presented examples of the root of many Tunisian dishes between Andalusian, Egyptian, Eastern, European, and others.
 
The richness of Tunisian cuisine and the diversity of Tunisian dishes between regions were also addressed.
 
The events likewise introduced a buffet that embodied some of this diversity with dishes originating from Tunisia, Morocco, Libya, France, Italy, Palestine and other Middle East countries.
 
The event was led and organised by (Amal Hana, Hela Hached, Eya Boussak, Hela Loudhaief and Ghada Ghamem).
