Prime minister-designate Habib Jemli met UGTT Secretary-General Noureddine Taboubi on Monday, November 16, 2019, in the framework of deliberations correlating to the establishment of the next government.
At the end of the meeting, Noureddine Taboubi reemphasised his appeal to speed up the formation of the next government in light of the country challenging situation.
Taboubi also stated that if the prime minister fails his mission, it is probable to resort to a prime minister-designate chosen by president Kais Saied.
Moreover, he stressed that the next government needs to be homogeneous and aware of the complexities of the state.
