Tunisia-PM Mechichi calls for increased diplomatic efforts to obtain vaccines

Prime minister Hichem Mechichi welcomed Foreign Minister Othmane Jerandi at Kasbah Palace. 

The meeting concentrated on the visits that were made by state officials to Libya, Qatar and Geneva. As such, Jerandi centred on the general regional and international situation as well as aspects of his visits to Brussels and Rome with President Kais Saied.

In addition, his participation in the meeting of Arab foreign ministers and the operation of the League of Arab States taking place in Doha. Stressing the significance of strengthening cooperation relations with Tunisia’s partners, Mr Mechichi called for preparing well for future meetings. He, accordingly, called for intensifying vaccination operations as well as diplomatic efforts to obtain  vaccines.
