Tunisia-PM Mechichi speaks with Algerian FM Sabri Boukadoum

The head of government Hichem Mechichi met on Monday at the government palace in the Kasbah with the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sabri Boukadoum.

Quoted in a press release from the presidency of the government, Mechichi welcomed the excellent relations between the two neighbouring countries, particularly in the security field.

For his part, the head of the Algerian diplomacy welcomed, at the end of the meeting, the secular relations which unite the two brotherly countries, reaffirming his country’s commitment to further develop them.

The two sides reviewed the experiences of the two countries in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. In this regard, the Algerian minister stressed his country’s desire to draw inspiration from the Tunisian experience in the fight against Covid-19, we read in the same press release.
