Tunisia-President Kais Saied : Murder for no reason deserves Death penalty

The President of the Republic, Kais Saied, spoke during the National Security Council held on Monday, September 28, the controversy over the death penalty raised following the murder of the girl which recently occurred in Ain Zaghouan.

He said killings for no reason deserve capital punishment and that the accused has the right to defend himself. And to add that each nation has choices to make. “We have ours and the law exists,” he said.
