The criminal chamber of the court of first instance of Tunis has decided to defer to a later date the examination of the case brought against Free Destourian Party member Mariem Sassi, pending the results of the authorized judicial hearing and technical and scientific tests.
The correctional chamber furthermore decided, at the ending of the session, to examine the request for release filed against Mariem Sassi.
Remark that the prosecution at the court of first instance of Tunis has issued an arrest warrant against Sassi for charges related to the fraudulent deletion of data from a media system.
