Tunisia-President Kaïs Saïed authorizes the armed forces to vaccinate citizens throughout the territory

“Emanating from his sense of responsibility, especially in this critical pandemic context, the President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed is stepping up efforts to find the means needed to control the difficult pandemic situation in Tunisia ”, reads a press release by the  Presidency of the Republic.

The same source adds: “As an embodiment to the multiple movements of the President of the Republic in this matter, Tunisia will get as soon as possible a new quantity of vaccines and medical equipment, as well as other kinds of support granted to them. ‘in a spontaneous way by friendly brother nations’.

On the other hand, the Presidency of the Republic indicates that, on the order of the Head of State, the armed forces will sweep the  Tunisian territory to vaccinate citizens, in partnership with civilian medical and paramedical staff. The President of the Republic wished to salute the positions of the friends of Tunisia throughout the world, praising the efforts of Tunisians residing abroad for their contribution, while ensuring that he will proceed to monitor the file of the pandemic .

In the same context, he calls on Tunisians to comply with the measures declared by the scientific commissions to contain the pandemic.
