Tunisia-President Kais Saied authorizes to send two aid planes to Lebanon and to bring back 100 wounded for treatment

Examining approaches to aid the brotherly Lebanese people following the huge explosion that rocked the Lebanese capital yesterday, Beirut was at the heart of Present Kais Siaed meeting with the Minister of Social Affairs and the interim Minister of Health Habib Kachou and Defence Minister Imed Hazgui

The Head of State authorized the urgent dispatching of two military planes loaded with food aid and medical supplies to support the Lebanese people and contribute to the care of the wounded in this painful accident that killed tens of innocent people and injured thousands of citizens.

The President of the Republic also ordered to bring back one hundred wounded in the explosion in order to be treated both in the Military Hospital and the rest of the Tunisian hospitals.

During this meeting, Tunisia’s solidarity with the brotherly Lebanese people was renewed in this distress, and its permanent readiness to stand beside it in this humanitarian circumstance which necessitates the further strengthening of solidarity and synergy between peoples.
