Tunisia-President Kais Saied meets Rached Ghannouchi, expresses concern over slowdown in government formation process

President Kais Saied met house speaker and Ennahdha movement leader Rached Ghannouchi at Carthage presidential palace. The meeting focused on the social and economic situation in the country and government formation.
During the meeting, the head of the state displayed his deep concern about the long period taken by the government formation process and urged speeding up the formation of the government as soon as possible to take over its duties.

Talking following the meeting, Ghannouchi stated: “the Tunisian people will have a government that will be in charge of the security and development tasks and all the missions assigned to it”.
