The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, addressed the nation tonight to send his wishes on the occasion of Eid El Fitr.
Kaïs Saïed estimated that the Eid celebrations did not take place in the best conditions, taking into the record the measures that followed the pandemic. “Some measures were right, others were altered because of their inadequacy or because they did not deliver the expected results.”
The head of state ensured that the management of public affairs was not easy under the prevailing circumstances. “The conditions are not easy, particularly for the poor and less well-off citizens. For this, it is important to learn the lessons of some actions and reactions. The efforts to solve the situation were painful. Some are well known, others are less so. Despite the media coverage and propaganda, the results are the most important ”.
The head of state announced he was addressing Tunisians not to make a political speech, but to wish them happy holidays.
On this occasion, he displayed his solidarity with the Palestinian people.
In the end, the President of the Republic awarded the prizes to the winners of the competition for learning the holy Quran.
