Tunisia-President Kais Saied talks with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo

President Kais Saied held a phone conversation with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo during which they discussed the strong relationships between Tunisia and the United States before and after the independence of the country. They further stressed the necessity of opening new horizons for the further development of these relations within the framework of a new approach to international relations.

On his part, the head of the state  considered that  many previous experiences did not lead to the achievement of international peace and security in the world

Both sides further addressed several international and regional. For his part, Secretary of State Pompeo affirmed the readiness of the United States to further support Tunisia in all fields
