Tunisia-President Kais Saied visits the National Commando Guard Training School in Oued Zarga

President Kais Saied visited the National Commando Guard Training School in Oued Zarga, Beja.

After saluting the national flag, he inspected the three formations (Counterterrorism, borders and Vanguard). Equipped with the latest technology, the head of the state also viewed new equipment for maritime rapid intervention and the protection of land borders, Interior minister Hichem Mechichi was also in attendance.

As part of his briefing on the readiness of the security units, The President of the Republic observed a field exercise mimicking the confrontation of a terrorist operation, with the participation of the Vanguards, specialized units and the air unit.

He further listened to the concerns of the school framework and hailed their efforts, urging them for more vigilance and serving the Tunisian people and securing the country security.

The visit walls also a  chance for the president to participate in the Iftar Table with a few frames of the Ministry of Interior and the agents of the intervention units from the police, guard and civil protection.

Upon his arrival, the Head of State was received by the Minister of Interior and the Ministry’s general directors, members of the Supreme Security Council.
