Tunisia-President Saied presides over flag-raising ceremony at the military naval base of Bizerte

President of the Republic, Supreme Leader of the Armed Forces, Kais Saied oversaw, Friday a flag-raising ceremony onboard the patrol boats El Jem 213 and Dougga 214 at the military naval base of Bizerte.

The head of the state took notice on this occasion of an exhibition that follows the history of the Army of the Sea. He attended a presentation on the production of ships and patrol boats in cooperation with the private sector, said a statement of the Presidency of the Republic.

The head of state saluted the flag at the sound of the national anthem, before examining a detachment of the Army of the Sea. He handed the flag to the commanders of the two patrol boats and inspected the patrol boat El Jem 213 and the patrol boat of the high sea.
