Tunisia-President Saied speaks with his German counterpart

President of the Republic Kais Saied spoke over the phone with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier and reviewed ways to boost Tunisian-German relationships and Tunisia’s efforts to gather support from international financial institutions.
Both sides talked of the COVID-19 impact on the world, displaying a willingness to consolidate bilateral relations in the economic and scientific fields.
On the situation in Libya, the head of the state reemphasised that «legitimacy in that nation could be only Libyan without any foreign intervention,»
During the telephone conversation, an accent was put on the necessity to increase visits as soon as the health situation stabilises, the same source added.
