Tunisia-President Saïed : The challenges are many but we will win

The President of the Republic, Kais Saïed, announced on Monday, on the sidelines of an unexpected visit to the governorate of Sidi Bouzid, that he decided to address the people of Sidi Bouzid, “the cradle of the revolution”.

“I came here, not to put on a play, as some did last Saturday. The director and the actors of what took place in front of the municipal theatre are known. They gave the money however only succeeded to mobilize a dozen people, said Saïed. The head of state confirmed that he will constantly be faithful to his principles and his commitment to achieving the will of the people.

“The hurdles are many and we will eventually win. We will continually be more determined to fulfil the demands of the people, although the bad guys have a will to create a climate of confusion and vagueness, we will always be there, for us to oppose it, ”he said.

“I believed, at a particular moment, that some were going to live up to their vows, but they did nothing but lie. Their goal is to suppress the free voices and to abort the revolution which has begun on December 17 in the governorate of Sidi Bouzid. January 14 was the date of his kidnapping. The right of reservation does not allow me to speak of revealing everything, but when the time comes, you will discover the whole truth “,he added.
