President of the “Party of the 3rd Republic”, Olfa Hamdi, declared that she will join the next presidential election scheduled for fall 2024.
In a statement, a copy of which reached TAP, Olfa Hamdi said she was suggesting to the Tunisian people “an alternative political vision” whose purpose is to ensure “a better economic future” and to react to “their aspirations for unity, prosperity and security.
On this occasion, Olfa Hamdi also reported the launch of “a broad dialogue open to all Tunisians, as well as with Tunisians abroad”. A “dialogue which seeks to build a broad coalition guaranteeing a peaceful and successful political transformation in the context of the next presidential election”.
Hamdi added that “In 2011, the Tunisian people revealed themselves to be a free people who, by standing up for their rights, rejected authoritarianism in all its forms”, specifying that “this is in accordance with this freedom choice that I accept the nomination of the National Council of the party to present myself in the next presidential election.
