Tunisia- Protection officers close to PDL MPs banned from accessing parliament

PDL MP Majdi Boudhina condemned that close protection officers of some party members were barred from entering the parliament.
MP Awatef Grich Abid stated it was a coup d’etat, alleging that members of the PDL bloc are parliamentary representatives elected by the Tunisian people and not just civil servants.

It should be remarked that close protection officers of PDL MPs have now been banned from passing the threshold of parliament on the pretence that the law does not allow it.

The bloc also declared the organization of a demonstration on April 7, 2021, to denounce the more than condemnable practices of the Ennahdha Movement.
