Tunisia-Rached Ghannouchi predicts his arrest in the coming days

Ennahdha leader Rached Ghannouchi said in an interview on Monday, July 18, 2022, with Alaraby that he predicts his detention in the coming days. “For my arrest, everything is anticipated with the dictatorship and nothing is excluded, and we are optimistic (…) Tunisia is moving towards democracy, and this ordeal will last as long as the patience of Tunisians and their sorting between primary problems and secondary(..).

 

Invoked by the investigating judge of the Judicial pole for the Fight against Terrorism, Ghannouchi will appear on July 19 as an accused in the case of the Namaa Tounes association.
