Riadh Chaïbi, political advisor toEnnahdha movement leader confirmed that the services of the Interior Ministry notified Rached Ghannouchi that he is the target of a serious threat of assassination.
Chaïbi told Mosaïque FM that the close protection of the Speaker of Parliament has been enhanced since yesterday Thursday. The services of the Ministry of the Interior did not reveal the party or persons planning this act.
He added that the movement took this threat seriously. This is a threat beyond Rached Ghannouchi, it targets experience and the democratic process, he stated.
