Tunisia-Rached Ghannouchi to preside over parliament Inaugural session

 

Tunisia’s Islamist-Ennahdha party leader Rached Ghannouchi will be presiding over the House of People’s Representatives “HPR” Inaugural session of the second legislative term.

Ennahda, which won 52 out of 217 seats in October’s parliamentary election — well short of the 109 needed to govern will have to comprimse to form the next government , the party already opted to name Tunisian ambassador to Belgium and the European Union Ridha Ben Mosbah for the post of head of goverment.
