Tunisia-Tunisia denounces aggression in occupied Palestinian territories

Tunisia firmly condemned all forms of invasion and assault against the Palestinian people and each square inch of Arab land in Syria or elsewhere, while positively asserting its steady stand on the Palestine cause, with Al-Quds “Jerusalem” as its official capital.
In an issued statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned escalation in the occupied Palestinian territories, which has led to martyrs following renewed aggression by the Israeli occupying forces.
Tunisia reaffirmed its “unwavering position of support for the brotherly Palestinian people in their struggle to restore their legitimate rights”, justly urging the international community, in particular the United Nations, to “assume its responsibilities by providing the necessary international protection to the defenceless Palestinian people and by intervening to put an end to the violationscrimes and attacks to which they are subjected.
