Tunisia-Reasons for the postponement of the Francophonie Summit: The Canadian version

In a tweet published yesterday, reporter Etienne Fortin-Gauthier commented on the adjournment of the Francophonie Summit in Tunisia. The latter returned to the Canadian version in the face of this postponement. “Why did Canada no longer backs a Francophonie Summit in Tunisia this fall?
The answer from Minister Marc Garneau’s office and the pandemic or the organizational delays are not on the list, ”he explained.
According to the journalist, among the reasons provided by the office of the Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs: Political uncertainty as well as the absence of a constitutional framework and of Parliament.
