It was the president of the ISIE, Farouk Bouasker, who announced these results, reflecting that 2,830,490 voters among the 9,278,541 registered voters voted in the 11,614 polling stations.
As such, 2,756,607 votes were taken into account, of which 2,607,848 voted for the draft new constitution (94.60%) and 148,723 voted against (5.40%).
