During the current year, the Hedi Jaballah Regional Hospital in Tozeur profited from the reinforcement of a number of specialist hospital doctors, particularly in gynaecology, obstetrics, ophthalmology, cardiology, radiology, resuscitation and anaesthesia, which permitted this hospital institution to transform a certain number of its medical services into university hospital services, according to the regional health director, Yassine.
The same source underlined that the Hédi Jaballah regional hospital currently has 14 medical specialities and consultations in certain specialities are scheduled at the category “B” regional hospital in Nafta and that the regional administration aims to increase consultations of specialized medicine, once a week at the local Degache hospital.
