Tunisia-Residents of Aguereb to shut down El Guenna landfill [video]

Inhabitants of Aguereb (governorate of Sfax) condemned the reopening of the El Guenna landfill by the authorities, despite the judicial decision to shut it down.
The authorities have resorted to this solution to fix (at least in the short term) the problem of the accumulation of waste in the region.
Rejecting this decision and emphasising the repression of this decision on the environment and on the health of the inhabitants of the delegation, the latter started a protest march to the dump in order to close it again. Protesters further demanded the release of “Sahbi Mansour” who was accused of setting fire to the national guard post in the area.
