According to a reliable source in the governorate of Kairouan, Chadli Jhinaoui, the first delegate of the governorate, submitted his resignation from his position this morning.
It is noteworthy to stress that the governorate of Kairouan has been without a governor since the removal of the former governor, Mohamed Bourguiba. Jhinaoui had been serving as the interim manager in addition to his regular duties.
