Tunisia-Saïda Gâcher: Tunisia “begs” international institutions to fund its budget

The former spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic, Saïda Gâcher, lamented the “disastrous ” economic situation in the country. “Tunisia is in economic difficulty and in a delicate economic situation, exacerbated by the Covid and the Ukrainian-Russian war (…) It begs international institutions, including the International Monetary Fund, to assist it by granting it loans to save public finances and fund the budget. European countries are members of these institutions and influence their decisions (…) she said.
