President of the Republic, Kais Saied, examined, in Beijing, with the GNU Prime Minister Abdelhamid Debaiba, the executive procedures for opening the Ras Jedir border post.
This meeting took place during a meeting on the sidelines of the tenth session of the ministerial meeting of the Arab-China Cooperation Forum held in the Chinese capital, Beijing.
According to a message published Thursday by the Libyan government on its Facebook page, the two parties agreed on the necessity to urge the interior ministries of the two countries to carry out the tasks assigned to them for the opening and completing the maintenance and development work carried out by the Libyan side.
For his part, President Kais Saied ensured that he had ordered the Tunisian authorities to finish the name similarity file and to facilitate procedures for Libyan citizens travelling to Tunisia.
He also stressed the need to support the private sector of both countries in the areas of health, general business and industry by facilitating government procedures related to work fluidity and cooperation in both countries .
