Tunisia-Saied calls for transforming African debts into investments

The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, insisted, on August 28, 2022, on the necessity to “recover the riches of the African peoples, which are robbed and blocked abroad”.

He likewise called, during the closure of the Tokyo International Conference on the development of Africa (Ticad 8), the need to uncover solutions to the problem of African debts by recycling and converting them into projects investment to recreate wealth.

The President of the Republic declared that the Tokyo International Conference on the Development of Africa (TICAD 8) has succeeded in making promising and concrete visions and formulating a certain number of special recommendations which will constitute the new common vision of the Afro-Japanese partnership.
