Tunisia-Snjt indignant at ” Moroccan campaigns ” against Tunisia

The national union of Tunisian journalists has cautioned, in a statement against the continuation of the unacceptable denigration campaigns of Tunisia, its people and its institutions in the Moroccan media, after the visit made by Ibrahim Ghali, president of the Polisario Front, in Tunisia on the occasion of Ticad 8.

The Snjt called on all national and civil forces to deal with everything that jeopardises damaging Tunisian sovereignty. It also underlined that the militancy of civil and political forces against power in Tunisia to promote rights, freedoms and good governance does not stop them from playing their national role of defence of the country’s interests.

The press release likewise called on the Tunisian media to show responsibility and objectivity in the treatment of these campaigns and to defend the critical interests and the sovereignty of the State.
