The latest issue of the Official Journal of the Tunisian Republic incorporated two Orders 166 and 167 of 2024 dated March 21, 2024.
The first involves the extension of the deployment of a rapid intervention unit in the Central African Republic under the auspices of the United Nations, while the second concerns the extension of the deployment of a light infantry corps in this same country under the United Nations banner.
Chapter 1 of Order No. 166 stipulates that the deployment of the Rapid Intervention Company in the Central African Republic under the banner of the United Nations, as part of the backing for the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Mission for Stabilization in Central African Republic (MINUSCA), is extended for a supplementary period of one year, from June 5, 2024.
Order No. 167, provides for an extension of the deployment of a light infantry corps in the Central African Republic under the banner of the United Nations as part of support for the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) for an additional year, starting May 22, 2024.
