Tunisia-Saïed: ‘Widespread corruption has deterred investors

President Kais Saïed said, during his meeting with the Governor of the Central Bank, Marouane Abassi, today Friday, September 8, 2023, that Tunisia is full of skills and resources, qualified to raise it to excellence, inviting all Tunisians to get down to work…”as soldiers on the front”.

He estimated that widespread corruption has dissuaded investors from picking Tunisia to launch their projects, in addition to the obstructions to which they are exposed from administrators related to certain parties and lobbies, who want to harm the economy,

The Head of State likewise recalled that legal texts exist to protect investments, but the problem lies in the absence of security, comfort and equipment, which arouses the reluctance of investors.

Saïed called for resisting corruption and cleaning up the country, calling on the Financial Analysis Committee to play its role, if required.
