Tunisia-Samir Saïed wants a social appeasement

Minister of Economy and Planning Samir Saïed declared today that the 2023-2025 development plan seeks to give more significance to the economy of knowledge and skills.

Its objectives likewise are to face climate change including drought and lack of water and preserve social justice in order to deal with the tax burden and the vulnerable economy.

According to him, the development plan correspondingly seeks to support vulnerable and low-income categories and defend equality between regions.

Remarking on the rejection of the finance law by many social parties including the UGTT and the Association of Lawyers, the Minister confirmed that the solution lies in dialogue and social appeasement.

He condemned the succession of strikes considering that coordination with the private sector will improve the situation.
