Tunisia-Sarra Masmoudi: Tunisia is able to manufacture its own vaccine

Speaking to the TAP agency, the president of the National Chamber of Pharmaceutical Industry (CNIP) Sarra Masmoudi declared that Tunisia has the scientific skills to produce its own vaccine. Affirming that a large budget must be earmarked to this project, Masmoudi added that the local production of the vaccine is not currently a priority following the improvement of the health situation in Tunisia as well as the availability of a considerable number of vaccines.
In the same vein, she emphasised that this idea could be implemented in the medium and long term.
