Tunisia-Scientific committee suggests lockdown during Eid days

Member of the scientific committee Amen Allah Messaadi announced today that the scientific committee decided at its meeting yesterday to propose a general lockdown during the two days of Eid as well as a ban on travel between regions from May 8.

He further said that the spread of the virus could only be prevented by restricting gatherings.

According to the same source, the spread of the UK variant is essentially due to non-compliance with social distancing.
