The national unions of the Internal Security Forces of Sousse, Sfax and Monastir have announced protests under the slogan “dignity before bread” from Monday, February 1, 2021, and for a period of three days.
Demonstration movements will take place in front of the security districts and penitentiary units from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Administrative services will be postponed and work in the courts will be delayed to 11 a.m. Traffic offences and tickets will likewise be suspended for a period of 3 days.
The initiative comes following a demonstration organized on Saturday, January 30 at Habib Bourguiba Avenue in Tunis, in which the security forces were “insulted and attacked” by the demonstrators.
