Tunisia-Seeking truth in Belaid’s and Brahmi’s assassinations, still our priority (Popular Current)

Seeking the truth in the assassination cases of Chokri Belaid and Mohamed Brahmi and prosecuting the perpetrators are still our absolute priority, the Popular Current affirmed in a statement issued on the commemoration of the 9th Anniversary of the Assassination of left-wing leader and activist Chokri Belaid.

We will continue to seek the truth, the party insisted, despite the numerous attempts to conceal it due to the complicity of several judicial sides with the Ennahdha movement and its secret apparatus, which have infiltrated all State institutions, including the administration, justice and security.

For the Popular Current, justice has failed in its mission and has disappointed Tunisians.

It is now called upon to remedy its mistakes, to isolate the corrupt and join the struggle of Tunisians against impunity to build a state of law and justice, the party considers.

The latter urged Tunisians to massively take part in the rally next February 6 at the Human Rights Square downtown Tunis, under the keynote: “Accountability.”
