Units of the Customs Guard in Sidi Bouzid seized 41,000 mobile phone accessories, counterfeit watches and electronic devices concealed on board a light truck and whose value is estimated at 1.1 million dinars.
According to a press release published on Wednesday by the General Directorate of Customs, the driver of the truck, who was heading towards Sidi Bouzid, presented falsified documents and confessed, not to be the real owner of the goods, admitting that she has was acquired from a trader in a border town in the center-west.
When the truck was seized, the two men (the driver and the owner who presented himself later) tried in vain to attack the patrol agents in order to recover the goods, but the arrival of reinforcements of the National Guard made it possible to neutralize the offenders and to establish a report of seizure, specifies the same source
