Tunisia – Seizure of tonnes of subsidized products

The Ministry of Commerce confirmed, in a statement today, Tuesday, March 19, 2024, that the first results of the collective activity of economic control of distribution routes during the eighth day of Ramadan of the year 2024 ended in the lifting of 533 economic fines after carrying out 3,304 inspection visits.

He added that 22.7 tonnes of flour, semolina and dough, as well as 3 tonnes of vegetables and cereals, were seized, in addition to 9.5 tonnes of sugar, 972 litres of milk, 1.5 tonnes of fodder and 8,125 packets of tobacco.
