The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed oversaw, this Friday, August 20, 2021, at Carthage presidential Palace, a ceremony, during which, an accord was signed, for the distribution of aid to disadvantaged families touched by the repercussions of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Head of State, on this occasion, hailed the efforts made by all parties involved, for the taking of exceptional measures for the profit of a large category of society, in these historic days. The President of the Republic emphasised the necessity to tackle the actual causes which led to this situation after many years of plundering the wealth of the Tunisian people. He further assured that the law must apply to all and that we must face all conspiracies and manoeuvres.
This agreement was signed by the Minister of Social Affairs, the acting minister of the economic department, the acting minter of the Ministry of Communication Technologies, the Governor of the Central Bank, the Director-General of the Tunisian Post, the Director-General of the Housing Bank, the general manager of the agricultural bank, the general manager of the STB Bank, the general manager of Tunisie Telecom and the general manager of the company Viamobile.
