Tunisia – Sit-in by families of detainees in the “conspiracy affair”

The families of those apprehended in the context of what is called the conspiracy affair organized, today, Sunday, February 25, 2024, a sit-in in front of the municipal theatre of Tunis, to oppose “the length of procedures and judgments in absentia against some of them linked to other cases that they classified” in the category of freedom of expression, like a judgment in absentia against Jaouhar Ben Mbarek.

As a reminder, Jaouhar Ben Mbarek’s sister, attorney Dalila Msaddek, announced this morning that she was beginning a hunger strike.
