Tunisia- SNJT calls for the withdrawal of circular n°19

The National Union of Tunisian Journalists (SNJT) called for the removal of circular n°19 which infringes the right of access to information. Calling for respect for freedom of the press, the SNJT called for a cooperative approach to all decision-making that affects the sector. According to the same source, the executive office will remain in permanent meetings and will organize a sequence of events which will begin on May 3, World Press Freedom Day.
