The National Union of Tunisian Journalists (SNJT) today accused the Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE) of desiring to take control of Tunisian Television by attempting to direct media coverage of the second round of legislative elections.
Based on the latest words by the ISIE spokesperson, the SNJT has indeed confirmed that the ISIE seeks through its cooperation with the National Television to control the questions and subjects raised on the sidelines of the televised debates.
Warning against the statements of Mohamed Tlili Mansri, the SNJTconsidered that this seizure constitutes a new setback for the electoral process.
