Some citizens of Chott Meriem area today held a demonstration in front of the headquarters of the governorate of Sousse for the realization of development projects including the development of a middle school and a high school. Reacting to this gathering, a citizen showed her willingness to donate land located in the tourist area of Chot Meriem to carry out development projects for the profit of the inhabitants.
She said she had frequently expressed her willingness to donate the land in question to build a centre for the protection of the elderly and orphaned children. Nevertheless, the authorities did not interact with his initiative.
